June Lunch Gathering for the SOAR Friends Club
Hi Friends:
As usual, we had our month lunch in the same restaurant on 6/17. There were 10 people coming including a new friend Ms.Lee introduced by The Hus,Roger and Hsiang. She is a long time friend of The Hus and our most senior volunteer Mr. Xin Shu-hua, recently moved down to Union City from Oakland. The SOAR will have a new blood in the office.
There was $130.00 left to donate to The SOAR Foundation.
We spent our time from 11:am to 2:45 pm to chi Chad on everything, naturally some different point of view as wall as comments on SOAR’s operation and programs. Our conversation is informal in exchange our thought and idea only. We also touched funny stories in our families with friends and relatives. There was no personal accusation to those friends and relatives even in different political colors, blue or green.
We could spend longer time but the employees of the restaurant have a lunch break between 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
The next lunch happy hours will be the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Again, it has no obligation and no pressure to you.
